Mock Recruitment Drive & YEP on 29th Aug'2010

Today VMYF conducted a Mock Recruitment Drill for final year engineering student members of VMYF.
The Drill was meant to prepare them to face the job interviews in future once they complete their final year. Various experts from ISB, Infosys, SOHAM Consultants conducted  the written test and interviews and gave the report to the students with hints as to in which areas they should concentrate their efforts and how to overcome the drawbacks in order to get selected in the interview conducted by the top notch Multinational IT companies and the like. The drill was very helpful to the students who received invaluable tips and guidance from the experienced executives and faculty from to notch Multinationals and Training Companies.

Also today the part 2 of Youth Empowerment Program YEP level -1 was conducted for all those students who missed out on the earlier session due to various reasons. It was a resounding success attended by the about 30 students for various Engineering and Degree Colleges.

Youth Empowerment Programs YEP's on 22-08-2010


VMYF conducted a YEP Level -1 program for all the new volunteers and the new members on 22nd Aug' 2010 at Jagruti Buliding, Kachiguda, Hyderabad.  more than 40 members attended the program which went on up to 5 P.M. in the evening. Lunch was provided to the attendees at the venue itself.

A Report of Patriotic Youth Fete-2010

VMYF celebrated the Patriotic Youth Fete – 2010, on 14th Aug’10, at Keshav Memorial Degree College, Narayanaguda, Hyderabad.
The Student Fete was a major hit with more than 1200 visiting students and with over 600 participations from about 250 Colleges in and around Hyderabad in 16 categories of talent contests.
The Fete Started at 9.30 A.M. and the events went on up to 6.00 P.M. culminating with an inspiring and enlightening speech by the esteemed Guest of Honour Sri SARPV Chaturvedi Swamiji on        “The Concept of Vande Mataram and its true role in National Resurgence”. Swamiji was gracious enough to visit Hyderabad just for one hour expressly to deliver this lecture amidst his busy schedule at Chennai to where he flied back immediately after delivering his invaluable lecture.
He held the audience spell bound with his oration about the meaning and scope of the Vande Mataram Concept and how it is applicable to whole of the World due to India being the Mother of all the Races of this World in more than one way. He also dealt in detail on how the Youth need to be empowered in the real sense apart from only attending the Talent Competitions and Fetes. He urged the VMYF to come out with a diploma course in affiliation with the ‘Florida Institute of Vedic Sciences’, USA with a proper syllabus covering the vital areas which contribute to the National Resurgence which is the need of the hour.
Earlier the Chief Guest, Justice L. Narasimha Reddy addressed the audience and applauded the effort of VMYF for inspiring the youth with Pride and Patriotism and he graciously extended all the necessary help and guidance to VMYF in such efforts in the future. Also on the dais was Prof. Sulochana, President, Pragnya Bharathi.
The Prizes were given out by Yogacharya Sri. K. Balaiah, an eminent Yoga Instructor and editor of Magazine “Yoga Pragnya”. The Vice- President of VMYF, Sri T. Srinivasa Rao, DGM, AIRTEL,  Sri. Jagadeeshwar Rao Secretary, VMYF, Sri Nagaraj, Sub-Editor of English Monthly, “Bharatiya Pragnya” and Sri Kishore, a social activist were among the dignitaries who gave away the prizes to the winners in various talent competitions.
The Event was a grand success thanks to the support of over 80 Youth Volunteers of VMYF who strived for long to make this event a success and also to the support of the sponsors who pitched in with valuable financial support like VBIT, GNITS both Engg Colleges, Sri THV Prasada Rao, Sri Aditya, USA, Sri Ramalinga Reddy (Rali) of Canada, Sri Rajasekhar of Hallmark Industries, and other support like Radio Partners 93.5 Red FM, which provided extensive FM Radio coverage, the Sailaja Mineral Water, which provided the mineral water and Sri Ramanuja Mission Trust, Chennai, which provided the lunch and dinner to all the students who attended this Patriotic Youth Fete – 2010.
